Berhampur University is a public university which was established onJanuary 2, 1967. The University offers Research programs in over 16 different disciplines. The application form for research program is made available on the official website of Berhampur University by the end of the month of November every year. Interested candidates should send the filled-in application form to the University through Registered or Speed Post only.
The general eligibility required to apply for M.Phil. and PhD program is a PG degree in a relevant discipline. However, there are certain specialized eligibility for different disciplines as well.
Candidates can get admission to the M.Phil courses through an entrance test followed by an interview conducted by the university. For admission to PhD courses, a candidate will have to appear for URET entrance test and an interview conducted by the Staff Council of the concerned Department.
